30 Sep-2 Oct 2026 Fontenay-aux-Roses (France)

In the recent years, there has been remarkable progress in our understanding of the biology of Rad51, a protein central to fundamental processes including DNA repair, replication and meiosis. The first edition of this 2-day meeting entitled "Rad51 filament – molecular mechanisms and impact on genomic stability” will cover recent advances in the regulation of Rad51 nucleofilaments from in vitro and in vivo studies across different organisms and their impact on genomic stability and human health.

The program will include oral sessions featuring talks by invited speakers and presentations selected from submitted abstracts. There will also be two poster sessions. All attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts.

We envision that this meeting will be an opportunity to bring this fascinating topic up to date and to open new avenues of research by fostering new collaborations.

Topics:

Structure of Rad51 nucleofilaments

Regulation of Rad51 nucleofilaments formation

Rad51 homology search

Rad51 and replication stress

Rad51 and meiosis

Rad51, genome stability and human health
